Our graduation requirements correlate with the State of Florida graduation requirements. The 24 credit required include:

  • Math – 4 credits
    • Algebra 1 – 1 credit
    • Geometry – 1 credit
    • Algebra 2 – 1 credit
  • English Language Arts – 4 credits
  • Social Studies – 3 credits
    • United States History – 1 credit
    • World History – 1 credit
    • Economics – .5 credit
    • United States Government – .5 credit
  • Science – 3 credits
    • Biology – 1 credit
    • Chemistry – 1 credit
    • Physical Science – 1 credit
    • Anatomy – 1 credit
  • Physical Education – 1 credit
  • Fine Arts – 1 credit
  • Electives – 8 credits

In order to graduate with a standard diploma, a student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale. Students who do not meet the graduation requirements may receive a Certificate of Attendance if they attend the minimum number of days require by the State.

Students are encouraged to participate in the Dual Enrollment College Program with Hillsborough Community College or The University of South Florida.
